We have 11 beautiful lakes for all of you water sports enthusiasts who enjoy swimming, boating, skiing, and of course fishing. lAKE lAGO is our non accessible pure water supply, but is a breathtaking sight from the high lookout point. A favorite spot for photos, as on a clear day you can see for what seems a hundred miles. The Arkansas Fish and Game Commission stocks our lakes and monitors their progress. All Village lakes are stocked with black bass, spotted bass, channel cat, blue cat, black & white crappie, blue gill, and green sunfish. Lake Balboa is also stocked with copper nose bream. There are two marinas in the Village where you can buy bait, licenses, equipment, or rent a boat. They are located near the boat ramps at Lake DeSoto and Lake Balboa. Local expert fishing guides are available to insure you a most productive and memorable trip. If fishing from your own pier, in your own back yard, has always been your dream, we can certainly make that dream a reality.
