The DeSoto Games Area offers miniature golf, basketball, tennis, pool and ping-pong tables, structured programs and video games. The outdoor DeSoto Pool is open from Memorial to Labor Day providing fun for the young and the young at heart.
There are many restaurants, shopping venues, kids activities, holiday activities such as fireworks on Independence Day, Christmas concerts and New Year's parties and dances. Two large area grocers, gift shops, retail and drugstores, video rentals and hair salons are just some of the businesses available in the local community for vacationers and residents.
Lodging is available at a hotel just outside the front gate, as well as, timeshares and rental properties within the Village. Restaurants offer everything from a quick sandwich to fine dining. Entertainment and dancing is available for after hours enjoyment.
